welcome home!?!?

I had another weekend away which I'll give details on another time, but I had to do a quick post about my welcome home treats. It starts with Violet picking me up at the airport...she's amazing and I love her! She drops me off at home and I head up the back stairs to find this at my door....



...can anyone tell me what it is? I think I woke the neighbours with the scream that came out of my mouth! Amazingly the little guy never moved -- he was just as scared as I was.

Once safe and sound inside, I go to check my messages. The first is from my family...with Princess M blowing kisses into the phone...she's so cute!

The second? Not so cute. It was a message saying I had a collect call from Alex...an inmate of the Cook County Department of Corrections. Ummm...what the fuck! Creepy, creepy, creepy!!!

And I'm supposed to be able to sleep now? I don't think so.
