dilemma averted

What is a Cubs fan to do when faced with two tickets to the White Sox/Yankees game tonight? Who do I root for? It would be impossible to cheer for the Sox, that's just not allowed. But the Yankees...they're just evil and I don't think I could allow myself to hope for them to win. And if Fenway ever found out I did, I think that relationship would be over really fast. Thankfully I don't have to decide since I can't go to the game, but it does bring up another possible dilemma - a White Sox/Cardinals World Series. I would have the same issues with that...not that it will happen, but if we went off the standings today with the best ranked teams, that's what would happen. I'm still hoping for a Cubs/Red Sox series - which the Cubs would ultimately win, but whether that ever happens in my lifetime is up for debate.
