mission accomplished & rotten bananas

It's amazing how tiring shopping can be. I'm exhausted and I haven't done much at all today, but yesterday is another story! Cubbie Girl, our new friend Shelly and I were shopping all day long. We were on a mission and we kicked ass. Amazingly, we only hit 2 stores but it took us 5 1/2 hours. This is what girlfriends are for - shopping and having fun doing it. Guys either won't take part or if they do they drag you down. They can't enjoy it like we do. We had no concept of time and tried on a ton of clothes, shoes, sunglasses, hats, jewelry, purses, jackets, etc. It was great! I haven't had a day like that in such a long time. By the end of the day we were getting a little slap happy and silly but it was worth it. And the key to buying sunglasses...take pictures wearing each one and then decide which looks best. It's so much easier than looking in their little mirrors that distort everything.

On a side note, someone smushed a rotten banana on my car windows. It was disgusting and messy and a pain to get off. Why would someone do that? It's not like my car was bothering anyone. It just sits there on the side of the road minding it's own business until I decide to do some errands. As far as I know it isn't in a fight with any of the other cars, unless I parked in someones favourite spot or something and they got pissed off. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I've heard of egging cars, but bananaing??
