I'm on fire

I really am on fire. My legs and shoulders are burning so hot right now I can feel the heat through my clothes. I went kayaking with Violet and Jude, Becca and Alan, and Sam out on Lake Michigan with the air show going on overhead. It has become an annual event and I loved every moment of it. Until I got home and saw the damage. I knew I was burnt, but I didn't realize how badly. I don't remember the last time I was this red. I was good, I was wearing sunscreen, but I guess all the waves and the paddle helped to wash some of it off. So my thighs and shoulders are completely red, my shins are white with a few red blotches and my feet just look really funny. Thankfully I was wearing a hat so my face was spared! Even the back of one of my hands got burnt. Sometimes I really hate the sun.
