There's no place like home!

I'm back and alive but have no time to post anything! Thanks to CG, you will be able to hear about our adventures in NYC. The only thing she failed to mention was the Ben & Jerry's that was required to calm the beast that wanted to hurt everyone in my path Saturday afternoon (I got a little bit cranky because of the crowds). She also forgot the part where I was a babbling idiot when she first arrived because I was so excited to be in the city - only the food and bubbly were able to calm me down!

So what else happened while I've been gone?? Thursday I officially became an Aunt again to Baby O! The pictures that I've seen so far tell me she's got quite the personality and is adorable. I can't wait to meet her! I'll have to plan another visit very soon...maybe in February.

Work went well and we are - for the first time ever - ahead of schedule! People are happy and relaxed and we were treated to many meals and beverages the whole time I was gone. It was a good two weeks, but I've never been more happy to get home. Crawling back into my own bed was the best feeling in the world and I don't want to give it up again anytime soon. Living out of a suitcase really is not my thing and eating out every night tends to get a little depressing. I still haven't gone grocery shopping since I've returned, so I'm still eating out, but I'm hoping I can change that very soon.

And that's all I have time for today. The phone is ringing and it's time to get back to work.
