It can't last long

I can't believe it. It's finally happened that someone thinks I know what I'm doing around here! For those of you who have no idea what I do, I am a computer consultant, currently working with this big ass company that pretty much controls the world. When you think of computers, people generally think of geeks. I am not a geek. I like what I do - but only during office hours - and even then not that much. I don' t like to talk about what I do or draw attention to it in any way at all. Actually, the only reason I do what I do is so that I could move to the US easily and get a "career." I've got that now but it doesn't make me the happiest person alive. Anyway, today two new consultants started at this big ass company and they are looking to me to lead them. It's the oddest feeling. Granted, my supervisor here wanted me involved in the interview process which was cool, but these guys have way more experience than I do. And they think I know what I'm talking about! I suppose in reality I do know what I'm doing but I didn't think everyone else thought that way. I've always had such a negative outlook on my skills and qualifications, but now that they think I'm smart I don't know what to do!

I may have to get used to this.
