Sad news...

...the hottie down the hall is married. And I looked great Friday too! I was having a great hair day and I wore a new top and even had a cool necklace on. Alas, it was all for nothing. sigh It didn't even help during happy hour with Kernel and her friend - the other red-headed FireCracker! It was a fun evening but only because we learned more about each other and had good eye candy to look at. FC2 was great and it sounds like I've got a new partner in crime on the singles scene. She and I will probably be going to a DMF event next week and we've also discussed doing the 3-minute dating thing. Kernel wants no part of either but at this point, I'm ready for anything. I just want to start dating again. I don't want a relationship, I just want to go out, have some fun and see what happens. I tend to fall into relationships very easily and this time I want to find the right person, not Mr. Right-for-Now. Which means dating many different men, being more aware of what I want and learning to have more fun in life. I think I'm finally ready and I'm looking forward to what's ahead of me.
