Lucky, Lucky, Lucky

A cute new tennis skirt that I love and 3 pairs of Lucky jeans have made me the happiest I've felt in a while. But that's only because they fit and look great! I've always had problems finding jeans that fit and I've managed to find 2 styles of Lucky jeans that are perfect! I was in complete shock in the dressing room this morning and nearly started crying from joy! Last weekend FC2 came with me to try and find jeans and we went to so many places and tried on so many different brands with absolutely no luck. Today...well, today was my lucky day. All 3 fit perfectly and felt like a second skin, they were that comfortable. It was amazing!

On the way home from shopping I had 2 interesting encounters. The first was a 65 year old man at the train station who was obviously having a bad morning. He was using a cane and came to sit beside me as we waited for the train. Even before he got close enough to sit, he started talking to me about his struggles about taking the train this morning. I'm sure he just needed to vent and I was in such a good mood that he didn't bother me one bit. So I listened to his story and I think I even managed to get him to smile a little and by the time the train came, his mood had improved immensely. I wished him well and got on the train where I found a seat by myself - or so I thought. Seconds after getting comfortable, an older gentleman, probably in his 70's sat down beside me. There were a ton of empty seats in the car but he chose to sit beside me and instantly I knew he wanted to talk to someone. He gave the impression of having had a difficult life and was lonely. He was dressed decently but had a faint alcohol smell on his breath so I wasn't sure exactly what I was in for but he was sweet. We talked baseball and American presidents and he seemed like a very nice man. I'd like to think I helped to improve his day as well but either way, I did enjoy talking with him. Why did this happen today? I'm not sure but I think I was pretty lucky.
