good morning

How's this for excitement...I'm still at work...at 5:30am Friday morning and I have no idea when my Thursday will end. Sounds like lots of fun doesn't it. I know, you're jealous. You all want to share in the pleasure that is my job.

The real excitement in my life is that I am a new Auntie again. My brother and his wife adopted a baby girl this week - Abigail Grace. She was born Tuesday September 20th at 2:45 am....8 lbs 14 oz ...52 cm long (20.5 inches). Little Abby had quite the experience, ending up with a broken collarbone from the delivery. Not the best way to come into the world, but I'm glad she's here and she will recover - Mom and Dad just need to be very gentle with her.

And in other news...wait...ummm...there is no other news. I have no life so that's all there is.

Cross your fingers that I can go home soon and maybe...just maybe...hit the Cubs game this afternoon.
