Sick in the head

Being sick for the last few days has really affected me, to the point where today I had a total breakdown in front of the FedEx girl when she was trying to help me. Of course, I was just totally over-reacting to what was happening and my head felt like it was going to explode so I'm not completely surprised it happened. And she was so sweet, even when I was going crazy. She should win an award for her kindness, whereas I should be punished for how I was acting. Thankfully I didn't actually shed any tears, but they did come very, very close to streaming down my face. By the end of our exchange, I was calm and somewhat collected again and thanked her profusely for putting up with me. I walked out embarrassed and decided I needed a break so headed down to Starbuck's for a little tea and yummy goodness in the form of a slice of marble coffee cake (the reduced fat kind). That, the cutest little puppy dog in the world and the long walk around the block in the mild winter weather has helped to relax me a little but I'm still thinking of going home early.
